What is hypnotherapy?

During a hypnotherapy session, Michele guides the individual into a state of deep relaxation and focused attention, known as a hypnotic trance. In this altered state of consciousness, the individual is more open to suggestion and can access the subconscious mind more easily. Hypnotherapy can be used to address a wide range of issues, including: 1. Changing negative habits and behaviors, such as smoking, drugs alchol, overeating, or nail-biting. 2. Managing stress, anxiety, and phobias. 3. Improving self-esteem and confidence. 4. Enhancing performance in sports, academics, or public speaking. 5. Overcoming trauma, grief, or past traumas. 6. Managing chronic pain or health conditions. During a hypnotherapy session, Michele may use various techniques, such as guided imagery, visualization, positive affirmations, and suggestion, to help the individual access their inner resources, reframe limiting beliefs, and create positive changes in their mindset and behavior. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process between the hypnotherapist and the individual, and the individual is always in control and can choose to accept or reject the suggestions given during the session.
